Unique experiences.
Its not always about competing for us, some of the places we have been and the things we have experienced have been simply magical and we are privileged to be able to say we have done them, often surrounded by some amazing people
London New Years Day Parade.
The day we were invited to visit the queen....well Buckingham Palace anyway. As well as other landmarks such as Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Nelsons Column, the Cenotaph and we even got the opportunity to ride on the coveted Horse Guards Parade. It's a day we shall never forget! Hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets of London cheering and waving as we passed along the parade route, Pie and Cheyenne thought they were all there to see them of course. They really rose to the occasion and even made the international TV screens. |

Riding for the Disabled. In November 2018 I was approached by our local RDA (Stranraer Happy Hooves) who were struggling for larger horses to help their riders. Pie has done so much for me over the years that it only seemed fair that he should be able to give joy to other people as well. He enjoyed taking part in therapy sessions every Monday and helped make a difference to so many people during his time volunteering.

Wedding Carriages. There was a time when I decided to set up a carriage driving business and Pie was to be the star of the show, escorting brides in one of my friends beautifully restored Victorian carriages on their big day to get married. We attended several weddings, Galas and parades but unfortunately had to put a halt to business without the funds to expand into adding more horses to the team.

Remembrance Day.
A day in history that should never be forgotten, as we bow our heads to remember all the brave men and women who served and gave their lives so that we could have ours today. It is important to remember that it wasn't just people who died fighting the cause but also millions of animals who proudly stood beside our fellow man. competition Results.
Over the years we have been lucky enough to gain some fabulous competition results, all of which I am very proud of. Hopefully with hard work and determination we will be able to add to this list in the future. Here are some of our highlights:
British Working Equitation.
In 2023 we took to the arenas of Working Equitation for the first time. A discipline requiring a true all rounder for the 4 sections of Dressage, Ease of Handling (dressage around obstacles), Speed (obstacles against the clock) and Cattle Handling. Pie took to this new sport like a duck to water and excelled, bringing home National Reserve Champion at Inter B and helping the Northern team towards a reserve title in the Regional Championships.
